The Climate Conflict: What is it Really All About?

Professor Emeritus Dick Thoenes of Eindhoven University wrote a guest column in Holland's "The Daily Standard". Thoenes writes: "The serious scientists who object to this (AGW) on scientific grounds, are not heard and dismissed as bad guys. This is of course ultimately an unsustainable situation. Nevertheless, it has been going on since around 1996, about 18 years....I see this situation as a serious undermining of democracy. It has been the basis for totally misguided government policies that cost taxpayers billions each year. In these times of additional cuts it is absurd that this waste of money is continuing."

No Need to Panic About Global Warming

The Wall Street Journal published a letter signed by 16 prominent scientists stating that "There's no compelling scientific argument for drastic action to 'decarbonize' the world's economy." They say, "a large and growing number of distinguished scientists and engineers do not agree that drastic actions on global warming are needed. models have greatly exaggerated how much warming additional CO2 can cause."

Open Letter to OcCC by Dr. Ziegler - CO2 Taxes in Switzerland

Dr. Peter Ziegler has sent this open letter to the OcCC, an advisory body on climate change of the Swiss Government, and to the Swiss media. The letter notified the OcCC that there is a large number of highly qualified scientists that seriously question the validity of the IPCC's AGW postulate. The letter links to Dr. Ziegler's presentation "Climate Change during Geologic and Recent Times", which is also accessible via Climate Science>>General Climate Science on the navigation menu.

Open Letter to the US Congress

An open letter to the US Congress dated February 8, 2011, shows that the modest warming of the 20th century has produced no harmful effects, but rather higher CO2 levels and the slight warming has had significant positive effects on the biosphere. The letter, signed by 35 prominent climatologists, rebuts claims of 18 climate alarmists that increasing CO2 will have harmful effects.

US Senate Report: 700 Scientists Dispute AGW Claims

Over 700 prominent international scientists, many of whom were IPCC participants, have significant objections to the climate change claims made by their organization, as well as by Al Gore.
